When I was 14 years old,I had a faulty orthondontic treatment from another dentist in my town ,and after 2,3 years I got suffering from sinusitis and breathing difficulties(so as usual ,I had mouth breathing during sleep), .But, I couldn’t realise the reasons for those ailments ,until I was doing 2nd year in my dental college .The realisations were that ,At the age of 14, I already had a short upper arch and associated mild beathing difficulties,that which got worsened when that dentist removed one teeth which was out of arch (faulty treatment in case of short arch )..After that , my breathing difficulty got worsened day by day.. & I had frequent sinusitis attack .. I am 20 years old. I had breathing problems and a growth inside my both nostrils since I was a kid. I was not getting sound sleep. I consulted many ENTs and was of no use. My name is Theres Sojan. I have been undergoing treatment with many doctors for the past 20 years .I had dull aching pain all the time in my sinus area,sometimes on the top, back and side of my head and a throbbing pain all over my head.I also had pain and puffiness in and around my eyes.I was also suffering from shoulder pain and neck stiffness.The frequency of headaches increased over time and I have had to go to the hospital almost every week. I consulted many neurologists,physicians and ENT surgeons and all of them diagnosed this as migraine and I have been undergoing treatment for migraine for the past 20 years. But there was no relief. I even tried ayurveda treatment ,Ottamulis,homeopathy, allergy treatments and acupuncture.But there was no result .Then I watched Dr Jojo Joseph‘s video related to breathing issues on YouTube and went for consultation.I started treatment and advised me to take CBCT scan and sleep study .His diagnosis was that this is an airway problem due to constricted upper arch and retro positioned lower arch. He advised MSE and lower mandibular advancement appliance. The immediate relief I got was that I could breathe easily without resistance. My sleep soon became better and peaceful .The pain and puffiness around my eyes reduced over time .The intensity and frequency of the headaches reduced and that was the biggest relief. Most of my problems subsided .My life became peaceful now and the quality of my life also improved.
